860 km of perfectlygroomed slopes and 270 modern lift facilities – that's the Sportwelt Amadé in the region of Salzburg. And everything only a few minutes away from your holiday apartment in the Schützenhof Schied. But even closer is the Großarl-Dorfgastein ski area with its 80 km of trails and 20 modern lift facilities. There is so much to explore – a single winter holiday won't permit you time to ski every kilometre even once!

In the Sportwelt Amadé you can choose between 280 km of blue, 438 km of red or 97 km of black runs. And if you need a break, one of the more than 200 ski huts and mountain restaurants is certainly nearby. Fill your tank with regional specialities, Austrian specialities or international delicacies for the next descent and enjoy your day. 

Whether skier, snowboarder, freeboarder or artistic skier on one or two “boards” - everyone is warmly welcomed in the Großarltal!  

At the valley station of the Großarl-Dorfgastein ski area we've got a free ski depot for our guests - So you don't need to take your skis and poles every day from your holiday apartment, just put them in this ski depot! And we have a ski depot with boot dryer in the building for your ski boots. Also a free service for you. 

If you don't want to use the car during your holiday, you can hop on the ski bus right in front of the building and ride to the ski carousel - every 1/2 hour in the morning and afternoon!
