The cross-country track network in the Grossarl valley offers approximately 30 km of well-groomed tracks. The entire route is prepared in classical style. A large portion of the track is also appropriate for skaters. Since 2007 there is also an excellent 4 km long high altitude track near the Saukaralm.
Snowshoe tours
This new, trendy sport is a great choice for nature lovers. Hike with your snowshoes through the deep snow of the winter wonderland and discover how peaceful a winter day can be. The Ellmautal area is a particularly good choice.

Horse-drawn sleigh rides in the Grossarl valley are great fun for all ages. They are also a great choice for couples in love. Cuddle up in a warm blanket and glide peacefully through the snowy scenery. This is particularly wonderful at night.
Ice skating
Ice skating lovers have also come to the right place. There is a large artificial ice skating rink in Grossarl. It is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and can be used free of charge.
Alpine curling
Alpine curling has been a way to combine sport with fresh air and social atmosphere since many years. The curling rink in Grossarl can be used daily with prior appointments. It costs € 2.50 per person to rent a lane and stick.
